Not to mention it thins the blood. I know a kid who was taking so much pain/anti inflammatory mediation in order to keep playing (at age 14) that he fell down and hit his nose (in a game) and got such a bad bloody nose he had to have it cauterized to stop the bleeding. He ended up blowing out his elbow at the same time, ironically.
