Nothing I hate more than an indoor pitching mound with the wrong slope. Make sure its at least 12' long so that it has the right slope of 1" of drop for every 1' of length starting at 6" in front of the pitching rubber. You can cheat and make it shorter but if you do this make it not as high to keep the right slope.
