I know a few P5s from last yr who switched to another P5, one was out of the blue caused a stir the head coach was pissed at the travel team for awhile and the kid did it on his own. But another kid a school basically whispered to travel team coach hey let player know we are sorry we didn't offer him but if he were to suddenly become available we would offer that very day.
