Ahhh, it's not been that bad (then again, I've been 1200+ miles away from it

I would think it does take a certain personality to thrive in a service academy environment. Beast was tough***...after that, it appears the academics is the tough deal. Taking 19-21 credit hours during spring season for most of his college career can NOT be fun.
The kid started his final semester of it today. He was excited for his "light load" of 15 1/2 hours.

[***...freaked us out a little in summer of 2008 when we went up for "Acceptance Day" (after 7 weeks of basic training). He spoke very little...apologized to us about it, as he "was not used to speaking without permission."
