Reply to "VHSL Pitching Policy for 2014"

The problem here is that VHSL screwed this up and is just not willing to confess publicly that it did.

Instead, they keep trying to ply us with explanations, clarifications, and rule revisions, to act like they did follow the rule the first time and the problem is with all of us who just didn't understand it.

It's a simple thing really.  The rule states multiple requirements.  You have to comply with them all, otherwise you cannot pitch.  Ergo, if you comply with one (or even more than one) but not another, you cannot pitch.

What VHSL said was, it's OK that someone didn't comply with one aspect of the rule because they qualified under another aspect.  No amount of fancy dancing will change the fact that they got that entire approach wrong.

This can be fixed very simply, if VHSL admits it erred and states that the rule will be followed as written going forward.

There was never anything unclear or improper about the rule.  It didn't need to be fixed.  It just needed to be followed.
