My high school coach has used the same signals in junior high for 18 years. Yes, most of the other coaches know them. But the opponent still has to execute.

He has changed most of the signals in high school but still uses a couple of the same signs still. In a regional game last year, he adjusted one because the opposing coach knew it and if needed, the play really needed to be surprise
