The only two teams that I know to be dominant in the North are Madison and Chantilly. After that, I haven't a clue.

I would expect that Battlefield and Lake Braddock to be strong. Maybe Centreville as well.

Mclean should be pretty good. Oakton too. Agree with Lake Braddock being strong.

I think Oakton's 2017 pitchers are going to keep them competitive this season. Three I can think of immediately are: Shigaki-Than, Lamon, and Sandifer.
Stone Bridge is returning the bulk of the roster that won the state championship last year as well as their top arms. Should be interesting to see how they respond with a new coach though. I'd expect them to make a deep run this year though.
Would love to know of 6A North juniors, sophs and frosh who you think will have an excellent Spring season.
As Rough Diamond stated above, Oakton's trio of junior pitchers - Toma, Lamon, Sandifer - may be ready to step up and do some really good things this year.
Who else?
Chantilly will be guided by mostly Seniors with continued help from last year starters Dicesare, Padeway, Norwood, Enders and Wagner with increasing playing time for Seniors Ryan, Pasquale, Imperial, Robertson and Vance. Among the Juniors, I would look for strong contributions from Dux, Pitura, Alderman, and Boddie. Also, keep an eye out for Parana in the Sophmore class.
Madison will also be lead by almost all seniors. Jordan Ebersole and Bryan Harthun in the outfield and Kyle Hayes(C), Carlo Alfano(3rd), Pete Nielsen(SS), Jimmy Goldsmith(1B) and Matt Favero(P). I'd keep an eye on Sophomore Kyle Novak. He had a big hit in the state title game and was first team all conference last year. Several Juniors will be stepping up in different spots this year as well.
