I've always wondered what people would say but in recent years lets say the last 15 years or so who do you guys feel are some of the better programs in your area that have been probably the most consistent, could be conference, region, area etc.. Would they be consistent with winning championships, going to championships, wins in seasons or even sending players to the next level.  Could even take it to another level and guess why they have been consistent.

Just curious of thoughts now that schools are beginning to start back up soon.

In the Lynchburg area, Liberty Christian has been the best program over the last few years, but over the last 15 or so years, Jefferson Forest has been the most consistent in terms of wins, district titles, state tournament appearances and kids going on to play in college. Amherst has had some really good years too and is in the top 5 for sure. Rustburg just won the 3a state title. William Campbell won the 2a state title last year. Very good baseball is played in the Lynchburg area.

i think you also need to include Flint Hill

The NOVA list for the last 15 years or so should include Lake Braddock, West Springfield and Madison.

Flint Hill has excellent leadership. I'd put them on the list of Northern VA schools likely to be consistently strong for the next 15 years.

In the Wash DC  Metro area ( DC MD and NoVa ) , I would have to say Lake Braddock, St Johns, Paul IV, Riverdale Baptist, Spaulding, and  Madison based on the rankings the last several years. A nice mix of public and private schools representing Va MD and DC.

I define a good  program to mean a consistent  team that competes or wins the conference year in and out . A "good program" will also have college recruited talent on its roster yearly.  Sometimes that program will have national rankings but almost every year will be ranked locally.

If you look at the strength of the Little League that feeds LB and WS (West American and West National), there is no doubt those schools will be contenders.  What the High School coaches do with that talent is another story.

In Northern California, NorCal baseball academy in Livermore  Their list of placing players is huge.  Now you have to understand that if you play for one of their showcases or wear their uniform 1 time in history, they will claim you as a product of their program.  High schools in northern Cal, Buchanon, Saint Mary's, Elk Grove, Campolindo, Junipero Serra.
