I'm looking for some information on Bowdoin and Emory and I have not been able to find any recent information in past threads.   Does anyone have a son (or know any players) who have played baseball at these schools and, if so, how was the player's experience?  How are the coaches and the schools?  Thanks!

Bowdoin is a great college. A student who does well there can get into almost any grad school. The coach is a good guy and a good coach. The facilities are terrible. One thing I was told about Bowdoin: if the player has a test and a game at the same time he won't be on the bus.

I know a couple of kids who recently played there. My father was fifth generation Bowdoin and third generation baseball (after he transferred from a Big Ten post football injury).

I don't have any personal information on either team, but Emory consistently fields one of the top D3 baseball teams in the country and Bowdoin is probably at the other end of the spectrum. Both are excellent schools but Emory has a national reputation. If I was a better baseball player I would take Emory if not then probably Bowdoin.
