from everything I have heard, that is a very good league. Several of my son's teammates have played in that league with very good experiences. If memory serves me correctly (and it may not!!) I think a few of them played for Rockford

It is a very good league. Attendance is over 5000 per game. Team franchises are sold for $1 million.

Be prepared for a "great" opportunity.

We have 25 players of our Goodwill Series alumni playing in this league each year.

Here is the attendance for the Northwoods League teams from this past summer:

Madison tops the heap in attendance, then LaCrosse.  My son played for LaCrosse last summer.

I think Rockford is the newest kid on the block, and there will possibly be another expansion team this summer.

If your player gets invited to play....go.  My son, from a mid-major college, got to meet players from all over the country and compete successfully.  The owner of the Loggers was very personable, selling concessions in the stands, and chatting up the regulars.  Although "for profit", it is run like a business, everyone has fun, and parents got comp tickets to home and away games.

We got to visit 3 different venues and all the stadiums and fields (and food) were great and well attended.
