First week has started her in Texas. Instead of being at the fields with 65 degree weather, I'm starring out the window looking at 2'' of snow.
I know the people from the North,Mid West are really feeling sorry for us Southern/ SouthWest States during High School baseball season...
Looks like next week will be a little better with temps in the high 50's.

Boo hoo! Here in IL it's 20 degress below normal temps and we had several inches yesterday on top of the two feet we had. More is supposedly coming this weekend. Looks like all of march will be wiped out and inside fighting for space.
Here in NorCal I just took a long walk with the wife and dogs. Beautiful day. Looking forward to first official HS game tomorrow. Not sure why my wife wants to retire and move to the northeast in a few years. Maybe it's cause she knows I don't want to go back there?
Texas also. 32 degrees. Son has a DH starting in a few minutes. He's a PO. Might close one of the games. Will start the game tomorrow when the temp is supposed to be a much warmer 43. LOL

Just learned that the game tomorrow has been cancelled due to weather. 20's/30's and wet stuff in East Texas. The game was to be out of town but at night so I was going to get to see him start on the mound. Now he will pitch one of the daytime games and I will have to rely on my wife for updates. I know that she always appreciates me bugging her for pitch-by-pitch play-by-play.

Our games are still on here in DFW for tomorrow ( TURF FIELD) unless they cancel school.Cant remember the last time my son didn't want it sleet/snow so he could go to go school.

One of the Friday day games was cancelled and the other was moved to 7:00PM and son was informed that he's pitching the Friday game so now I get to go watch again. Temps will be in the 40's...it will feel like a heat wave!!!
Is this rain and cloudy weather ever gonna go away? We've played 9 games at one opposing school's field because it's turf. Coach said last night that it'd probably be at least another week before we can get onto our field.
