My son just started throwing after 3 months off in preparation for the upcoming season. He ended last season in the low 80s and is bigger and stronger now and I would guess he is in the mid 80s. The biggest difference, though is that when he throws the ball hisses. It's very audible even 20-30 feet away. His ball did not make the sound last year. It's hard to believe that 5 MPH could be causing that sound. Does anyone know what could be causing this?
