... than Javier Baez?  This coming from a heartbroken Giants fan.

Yeah, he doesn't have the track record of other guys I'd put in that category, like say, Altuve, Machado, Harper, Pedroia, but man, he just flat out plays and has a great time doing it.  Seems like the kind of player younger fans looking for a younger game would latch onto.  And speaking of Cubs that leftly closer is pretty interesting to watch as well.  I think he may have a future.

I love watching Baez! He's a very fortunate player to have such amazing talent and to be surrounded by other amazing talent. Not many managers brag about their players tagging ability, but Madden has been doing it for two years now and he's absolutely right. My son was amazed watching the highlight reel during the game the other night. The fun thing about the Cubs, you never know who is going to be the clutch player that day. That win against the Giants in game 4 was typical 2016 Cubs play. Just when you think they are out of it, they beat you. The NLDS, whether it's the Dodgers or the Nats (go Dodgers), should be very good.

JCG,

with all due respect, yeah there is someone I'd rather watch. My son.

We drove over last night to watch the 1st Fall scrimmages today thru Sunday. He's supposed to pitch today. It's been a year since I've got to watch him pitch. Although i want him to do well, it will bring tears to this dad's eyes just to see him on the mound again today.

Trea Turner is a whole lot of fun watch. Nats and Cubs are my top-2 favorite teams by far. I hope they play in the NLCS!

Yeah well Henley screwed the pooch by sending Werth, and Dusty was not Dusty when taking Max out with only 99 pitches. I've seen Max go 120 this season, gutting it out. Having said that, the series should've been over sooner if Espinosa, Werth and Rendon were able to drive runners in. Especially Danny. He's a shortstop out of the 60's and 70's: great field, no hit.
