soxnole - Best to check the Lake Travis ISD website (think it is www.laketravisisd.txnet.edu) Anyhow - search web if this addy not correct. I live not too far from that district, they do not have a very strong baseball program as far as I know. Don't think they are very strong in any sport except tennis..School population a real mix of some affluent and lower income students. Again, check the website for specifics.
I have several good friends that live in the district and while they may have struggled some in athletics, it is a nice place to live and a good school district. They have a fairly new high school and voters recently passed a badly needed bond issue to help with lower grades. They've got lots of new growth in several nice areas.
I think both the boys baseball and football teams were improved last year and again, I've heard nothing but good things from folks who have kids in the district schools.
Lake Travis has been to the playoffs 2 out of the last 3 years. Roy Kinnan is the new Head Coach . He moves to Lake Travis from Austin Crocket. Up until last year the athletics at Lake Travis did not receive very much support from the powers that be. Things are changing. You will be hard pressed to find better facilities at any 4A school. The view from the top of the hill that Lake Travis sits on is very impressive. I am sure I will leave someone out but here is a list of the kids I can remember who are still playing after high school.

it should be another competitive year in our district. last year lake travis had the best second half of all the teams. a couple of bad breaks early cost them a playoff spot. with the addition of the new coach and returning group we know nothing comes easy when these schools get together. look forward to the season. and i am always lurking.
i heard about that, always a few who cross the line. i have good friends who's kids have played and are playing at LT. baseball has always been civil as long as i can remember, hope it stays that way. we have finally got healthy with a number of players who have been sidelined for the past two years, we are looking for big things from this group. see ya soon
