Recently, I re-read an email I received a few years back. It came from a parent who's son attended and played baseball at the same university as ours.  The gist of that email was the coach was "out of touch" and the program was on the decline.

Today, that program just won their conference for the 4th straight year, the West Regional for the 2nd and are starting the CWS today in Appleton.

This is a link to another beautiful story, which brought a tear to my eye. Colin is a 3 year starter at 2B, bats second and is a major player for Trinity University.  Today, he is standing in the midst of a rain delay with 16 senior teammates who moved a top D3 baseball program to an elite level in D3. Colin Serkowski is a major reason.

This article says so much about baseball, Colin Serkowski and a college coaching staff which empowered Colin to finish "his sentences.
