Nephew played there 2006 to 2010. Four year starter and loved the coaches. Coach Boss got the position before his Jr. year. I've only seen a few games while he was there, but it is a nice stadium. Huge renovation after Jr. year. They are currently putting in a heating system under the infield. Like most northern schools, they travel south to play in February.

I believe IU is Indiana. I don't know a single Hawkeye that refers to Iowa as IU. UI or U of I. Or just Iowa. Cause it's short and all. And Illinois also calls themselves UI. And what self respecting Hawkeye (or Illini) would want to be confused with the other. 😉

Yes. It is kind of nuts. But with conference shakeups these days, none of it makes any sense (other than $$). And IU is Indiana.
