Hit,

My son played for Mike for multiple years (he played with a couple of other showcase teams before he hooked up with the Rookies). IMHO you will not find a finer man, coach and baseball guy that will work tirelessly getting your son where he wants to go. The Rookies are not about money (some showcase teams are), they are all about the kids. Mike has been doing this for a long time and knows everyone (some other teams just don't have the connections). As for the "scout" comment, I am sure, because of a special relationship he has with CC, he acts as another set of eyes for them.

Hello,

I have been a Larker for some time and have Learned a lot from the other posters.

After searching for some information regarding Mid- Atlantic Rookies I can only find information from 2010 and older. I was wondering if anyone had any updated information regarding this team? My son was offered a roster spot for next summer. Any information would be great. He currently plays for a great coach out of Maryland but the coach doesn't have all the contact I believe Mike will have. any input here would be great thanks

I think the Rookies are now connected with the Keystone State Bombers, but you can ask Mike to verify that. They seem to be like the Bombers 17U showcase team. You will find them playing in the WWBA 17U National Championship next week. They also had a team in last fall's WWBA Underclass World Championship and the WWBA World Championship. That WWBA World Championship invitation is pretty exclusive. Also, I think KSB has some kind a business relationship with Prep Baseball Report, but again you should ask Mike about that.
