They claim that there are 52 pitchers in the milb that throw 100. Wow!
John Smotlz claims relievers are a dime a dozen and the use of so many relievers late in the game has actually ruined it. About rushing guys up, not enough time in the milb and pitcher burnout and why there are too many pitcher injuries.

Enjoyed debate on the 'shift'
I hate the shift. I think they should do away with it. The NBA has Illegal Defenses, and I think MLB should too. There would be more runs scored which would make the game more exciting.
I hate the shift but to me if you are making $5mil (low end) then figure it out. Learn how to beat the shift. Once that happens the shift will be a non issue and go away.
