Lord God, we praise you for your compassion and your goodness.

We continue to lift up to you this precious child, and ask for your healing power to fully permeate every part of her body.

Lord, we ask that Brecklynn's body be quickly transformed into radiant health as you respond to everyone that is praying for your healing promises in your Word.

You are the Great Physician Lord. You are the healer of weaknesses, colds, flu, fevers, viruses, chronic conditions, tumors, cancers and other ugly diseases, and You are the Healer of this child.

Lord, as sickness has invaded little Brecklynn's body, her parents stand by watching and feeling helpless....but Lord, I am reminded that we are not helpless, but oh so powerful in prayer. So.....we will continue to pray in Jesus name Amen.

Treesfreez, thank you so very much for this prayer. I let Breck's family know that they had 100's more praying for that sweet little angel.

I sent you a private message. If you get a chance, please take a moment to read it my friend.

Friends, PLEASE keep Coach May's prayer request for little Cam on the forefront of your heart and prayers. I believe today was the day that they were to have very dangerous surgery to remove the huge tumor in his little body.

I saw a updated pic of Brecklynn earlier and I just couldn't bring myself to post it. sigh. She's losing her hair and her face just looks so pitiful. Yet, she is smiling SO big in the picture with a pretty bow on her head. Here is her mom's post on FB today:

We are still battling the fever but her counts are starting to come up so we pray she will be able to fight off the virus soon. We are ready to get out of here!!
We received some bad news today as well. Brecklynn has been complaining of pain in her left arm so we had an x-ray this morning. It revealed that the tumor in her left shoulder has broken her bone Our prayer is that the chemo will quickly shrink the tumors and leave no damage to her bones. As you can see, she's rocking her new beautiful bald head and we think she's more beautiful than ever! As always, we are so thankful for all of your prayers and support. We know God is hearing our prayers and will heal our girl!

Thank you all so very much for your prayers all this time for Cam and Brecklynn during this holiday season. I can't even imagine how hard this is for all the family's opening their eyes each and every morning. But by the will and strength of God, they do. And pick up where they left off yesterday with more determination than ever. Just praying for ONE SINGLE WORD of good news on some level for their precious son or daughter.

Breck's mom replied to a private message I sent her a couple of days ago about the members of this site praying for all of them. She thanked me and all of you from the bottom of heart.

God bless you MDBallDad. I truly truly mean that. It's so easy for any of us to sometimes allow many more matters and lots of times more urgent matters to crop up in our lives. And it never means that our hearts and prayers have diminished in those we previously prayed for. Not at all. It's called LIFE and it happens to each of us every day. My deepest gratitude to you and all of the many others here who have continued to lift up Breck and Cam in those prayers. Below is the latest update for Breck as of yesterday.

12/27 Update:
We are heading home!! After a rough couple of days of chemo Brecklynn decided she didn't want to stay in the hospital one more second! So we got cleared tonight and are on our way home. We hope Santa has his reindeer geared up because we know two little girls ready for Christmas tomorrow! Thank you all for the prayers! Keep them coming!

1/10 Update:

Brecklynn has been feeling so good and we've enjoyed every minute at home! Tube feedings are going really well and she is eating some on her own as well. This afternoon she is performing in our living room with her "Elsa hair!" We are so thankful for all of our blessings and thankful for each of you as well! ‪#‎battle4breck‬ ‪#‎pray4breck‬ ‪#‎thankful‬

I should warn you that below will tug at your heart as you read Breck's update accompanied by the picture.

1/27 update:

Brecklynn is doing so well! Thanks be to God! She had labs after radiation today and her counts looked awesome! We are on track to begin her next new round of chemo on Monday. Her Dr said, "You can get out and about today Breck!" Her immediate response was, "Can I go eat where they cook on the table?!?" Can you guess where we ate tonight? She ate more than she has in a while and half way through dinner she asked her Daddy to dance with her. They danced like no one was watching while this mama's eyes filled with tears. Such joy fills our hearts seeing her feel like herself. We are truly so very blessed and so very thankful. #godisgoodallthetime #pray4breck #battle4breck

Youngundad - I don't post as much on here because I'm so busy being AD but the one thread I always look in on is this one.  So glad she is doing so much better.  If you wish to tell the family this story by all means please do but I currently have a female student who battled cancer when she was a child.  Probably about the same age as Brecklynn when she had her battles.  I didn't know her or the family when she went through it but I've found out a lot this year from teaching her but she was really close to losing her battle back then.  The girl I teach is completely healthy and is thriving academically, emotionally, socially, athletically and any other way a kid of 17 / 18 could.  So there is hope and there is a future if they keep fighting for it.  I know sometimes you get caught up in the here and now to make sure you don't miss out on anything because it can be taken away at a moment's notice you lose sight of what could be.  Only the Good Lord knows what kind of future is in store for Brecklynn's life but it is possible.  I've seen it.  God bless this young girl, her family, her doctors and your family for fighting this fight.

Edited to add - just saw my student post on her facebook that today she is turning 18 with this added........#takethatcancer

Each year at the PG All American Classic, one of the major events that all the players attend is the visit to Radys Children's Hospital.  Finding a cure for pediatric cancer is the goal for the All American Game.  Visiting those awesome children at the hospital is something the players will never forget. It is something I will never forget and I get to do it every year.

Following and praying for kids like Brecklynn, Cam and many others in similar situations is the most important thing that happens at the HSBBW. For parents out there, have your older children visit the closest children's hospital.  They will get a feel for what those young kids and their parents are going through.  For most anyone it will have a positive effect on how they look at things.

Guess I'm not the most religious person here, but I'm still praying for Brecklynn.

Gentlemen, from the very bottom of my heart please know that I am forever grateful for your kind and soothing words. I am often copying these posts here and sending them to Breck's mom and dad  so that on any given day should they be feeling lost, afraid and just plain scared these words of ya'll's will give them just a little wind beneath their wings. I choked up when I saw Breck in that picture dancing with her Daddy. It shows just how much Daddy's mean to little girls and wanting acceptance. To feel his love no matter what is happening in life.

I have been thinking and praying for Cam a lot lately. I've not heard much going on there and I pray that all is well and good for him and his parents.

Words cannot express the gratitude of knowing that PG is more than just baseball. But that you're impacting lives on every level with your generosity and leadership. From us all, thank  you Jerry.

Coach May, please let Cam's family know that we're continuing to lift them up in prayer. I truly with all my heart believe that all prayers and petitions brought before Christ are welcomed, heard, and dealt with accordingly to His great will in our lives. Romans 8:28 "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him..."

I know this is a baseball site and please know that I sometimes hesitate on whether or not I should keep giving any updates here on little Brecklynn. But I know there are many of you here who are fervently praying for this precious little angel and her young parents. If anyone feels that I should cease with the updates here, you can let me know. I promise not to take it personal. All I know is that this little 3yr old girl wakes up each day with the fight of her life and is the strongest person I know. She keeps a smile on her face even when she hurts and can't speak. To all of you who take the time to read these, offer encouraging words, and pray for her - THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH.

Update: 2/4

We have some good news to share today! We just got results back from Brecklynn's chest x-ray yesterday- the tumor in her chest has shrunk! Praise the Lord!
This, of course, means the chemo is doing its job! We still don't have an exact date, but we are looking at surgery (to remove the lung tumor) in the next few weeks. She is also rocking chemo this week and only 4 more radiation treatments to her brain! We are so thankful and know God is hearing our prayers and healing our sweet girl! Thank you all so much for your prayers and support! We still have a very long road, but we know God will continue to fight with us the whole way! ‪#‎glorytogod‬ ‪#‎thankful‬ ‪#‎pray4breck‬ ‪#‎battle4breck‬

It's been just short of 2 months and I thought that I should do an update on Brecklynn for all of you who have been praying for this adorable angel as she continues her courageous fight against cancer. At one stretch in February/March she had I believe something like 10 or 15 straight days of chemo treatments. It just ravaged her little body and it took a toil on her Mommy & Daddy as well. She had major surgery today to remove the remaining tumor they've wanted to get for a long time on her lung. My 23yr old daughter came into the living room last night with her friend asking if we could pray for Breck together as a family. With a 20-something year old daughter that i hardly ever see with a full time job and a social life I didn't even know she was aware of this little angel. But it reminded me of how God works in and around people's hearts and mind to prompt us at the right time to call upon His name in the power of prayer.

Below is her picture just this past November 2015 for those of you may have wondered who was being prayed for. And the other 2 pictures are from today after the great news (below), and her with Mommy & Daddy early this morning. Even facing this surgery she has the bravery and courage to smile for the camera.

Thank you all for the continued prayers and encouragement. If you want to keep up with her even more, feel free to join her precious Facebook page. You'd be SO surprised at the people across the globe praying for this gal! Here is the link to her FB page - https://www.facebook.com/Pray-...ck-1000138110025138/

3/22/16 - We claimed a victory in Jesus and that's exactly what we got. VICTORY. Surgery went better than expected. They were able to get all of the tumor and spare the lower left lobe of her lung. She is still in recovery but already off the vent. We are incredibly thankful! God bless you all and thank you so much for praying with us! Glory glory be to God! ‪#‎battle4breck‬ ‪#‎pray4breck‬

I just wanted to take a moment in here to show how the power of prayer continues to work in the life of this sweet beautiful little girl named Brecklynn. I think we all get so busy when we learn of such a hardship, show our love, support and prayers that we naturally forget and move on to what else life is throwing our way. But I felt it necessary to show all of you who back then and possibly still continue to pray for this beautiful angel. God truly is good and though she has had quite a few bumps in the road along the way TODAY she is in a very good place.

From her Family on FB:

6/19/17 Update: chemo round 7 is complete this morning! Plus, Brecklynn got to show little sister the ropes at the hospital today and show her how brave she is. Briley (Brecks little sister) always wants to go with us to the hospital... she thinks we leave her for some fabulous day out, bless her.... so today she finally got to go too. She thinks her big sis hung the moon. ☺️ They are two peas in a pod for sure. We are praying the side effects don't last long and she feels better quickly this round. Also, she is FOUR AND A HALF TODAY!!! Time must truly have wings. We are so very thankful for every single day we have her here on earth with us. Children are the biggest blessing. #battle4breck #pray4breck #sweetsisters
