Even though my kid has committed to a JC and he will honor it, should he register sooner or later. Like most he would like to head to a DI at some point.

I would register sooner if I felt my son was going to get an opportunity to play D1 or D2. some fo the process takes a while to get done, some is simply putting in information (like which travel teams) Stuff from others may take a while (like ACT scores and HS transcripts). Not sure what the requirement are when going from JUCO as far as clearinghouse is concerned but I am sure the JUCO wil have to send some sort of transcript. I would have all  i could in place, So when I needed that information from others I could help them thru the process and check on it.

Plus like anything else, prices go up to be a part  

List all travel teams from age 14 on to be on the "safe side" of things.  Might save you time if you are asked to go back and add them later on.

2Lefties, your son should go ahead and register now.  NCAA Division I and II schools will want to know when they are recruiting him from the JUCO level whether he was a Qualifier, or a Non-Qualifier, so that they know when reviewing his JUCO transcript whether he will be eligible upon transfer.  Many more academic requirements to be eligible upon transfer for any Non-Qualifier.

Does interest increase after you register?

Everyday2016 waiting to take ACT's so we have hesitated.

Has nothing to do with recruiting, other than it is a gate you have to go through to be able to play.
