We are excited to announce that PLAY THE GAME (8051 South Willow St. Manchester, NH) will be the new offseason home for the NEW ENGLAND CATCHING CAMP, and to kick off this partnership NECC will conduct a catching camp April 23rd– 24th, 2016. Jay and his incredible staff will conduct camps, for both baseball and fast-pitch softball catchers, ages 8-18.
We will be offering a couple 2-day, 2-session (3-hrs each session) camp! One camp for the younger catchers and another for the older catchers. The 6-hour camps are cumulative and will cover every aspect of the catching position including stances, receiving, blocking, throwing (arm motion and mechanics on throws to the bases) and some fielding skills. Each catcher will be held to a standard that parallels their skill level. Coach Jay Weaver and his staff will aim to challenge all of the catchers who attend throughout the weekend.
Weekend Camp #1 (8-12 year olds Baseball & Softball must attend this session)
Cost: $225.00 per student ($200 if registered before April. 9th, 2016)
Session 1: 8am-11am on Saturday, April. 23rd (stance, receiving, blocking, throwing motion)
Session 2: 12pm-3pm on Sunday, April. 24th (throwing mechanics, review of session 1 & fielding)

- Students must provide own gear, boys must wear cups. All catchers MUST attend the session designated for their age. No exceptions will be made.
- There is absolutely NO video taping of the sessions permitted by parents or coaches.
