Bit of the unexpected in Conference 7.  Annandale could end up the #1 seed, and in the Northern Region tournament for the second straight season.  And Lake Braddock has only three losses in the conference, to Annandale, West Potomac and TC Williams.

Not your typical spring for these teams, but Annandale and West Potomac seem to be more consistently competitive than they had been just a few years ago.

Are the two byes into the NR LB and Annandale?

Based on last year, I believe there is only one bye from Conference 7, because there are only seven teams (Lee is no longer in the conference),  The single bye could be either LB or Annandale, depending on the results Friday.

It would be the first time I know of that Annandale would have had one of these byes, although I only have really been following this conference for seven or eight years now.

End of reg season...
Loudoun Valley 5, John Champe 4 (12 inn)
- really, really exciting and thrilling game..LV was up 2-0 with DeGroat cruising, Champe tied it 2-2 in B7, then had 2 one run leads in extras...LV tied it 3-3 B10 then got 2 in B12 to win 5-4.  Champe was determined and impressive.  Good stuff!!!!
LV finishes 18-2...
