New SI arrived today. Not the Swimsuit issue. Has A-Rod on the cover. The mag has an article/excerpt from a new book titled Odd Man Out by Matt McCarthy.
Description says, "Before entering Harvard Medical School, the author spent a sometimes maddening, often hilarious, undeniably unforgettable year as an Angels minor leaguer. He loved it so much that he wrote a book about it."
I read the excerpt in the magazine. Looks like a good one. Thought I share.
