what is the current state of affairs with these programs - Baseball scholarships or not? Does anyone know? Thanks

No baseball money as of two years ago
I thought there may have been some talk about 1 or 2 scholarships at a couple schools, but maybe that was basketball and/or football?
Anyway, most have good need based aid, and 2 are 100% free for all who attend.
Just returned from an unofficial trip with my son at Patriot League school today. Son was offered a spot for his class but most of the money (1.5 scholarships total) are set aside for pitchers. However, they work aggressively to get you financial aid if you are eligible. I believe that is pretty consistent across the league but schools (maybe Bucknell?) have sport specific aid set up through alumni and friends of the school donations.
I will tell you that from a complete academic/athletic experience, I was so impressed with the school we saw that I mentioned to the coach that I had some eligibility left to walk-on! Beautiful campus, small class sizes, individual time with faculty and professors. You just don't get that in many places. But it is accurate that the two military academies are the only Patriot schools that will get you a fully ride. But, of course, there is that five-year commitment thing afterwards for the student/athlete.
Holy Cross remains the only school that does not offer baseball scholarships of some sort I believe. That could have changed recently though.
On UV last summer at one of the Pennsylvania Patriots, was told in no uncertain terms by HC that they had (1) baseball scholarship for entire team. One. He did not say how he carves it up and I did not ask.
Hope this helps.
