Congratulations on Justin's great year. The .091 era is going to be hard to top. Also great
hits/ip ratio as well. Hope they make it back to Montgomery again and meet the MOCS from FSC.

Last year was a tough one for me as my middle son was heading to UNF and my old teammate, Dusty Rhodes is the head coach there. FSC and UNF in the WS Finals-didn't want either to lose.

Good Luck this year!
Thanks Moc.. Justin's 1st college start was against the Mocs. I was there last spring and my heart was pumping like it never has b4. The Mocs were ranked #1 at the time. Justin did pretty well though, and I was a proud pop. Justin did'nt get to pitch in the series they were saving him for Delta State. So much for saving pitchers LOL Congrats on your son and UNF moving to DI. I saw their schedule and they have their hands full! Good luck to you and your son this year also. As far as FSU .. I can't root for them that much LOL Take Care.

Been told he has a protypical pitchers body has hit 87 but pitches at 83-84 only allowed 2 BB's while K 27 in 32 IP with a 0.65 ERA for the St Louis Pirates Showcase team this fall... And parents that couldn't be prouder of that #1 class rank...... while playing 3 sports

Matt has announced that he will be continuing his career at the University of Toledo while obtaining a degree in pharmacy

Welcome Coach1, I see this is your first post. We all hope it the first of many. There are many good topics and great information here on the HSBBW. Many parents and players just like yourself and your son exchange information and opinions about baseball from pre-high school through high school and on into college. It’s a very important year for your son. Best of luck to Dominic .... and best of luck to veryproudmom and Zach too!

Did your son get offered anything from selectfest? They are picking 120 underclassmen from an estimated 600-700 entries. I think my son has something to show plus he is a young 16. He's been working out at the baseball warehouse for the last 2 years. Got my fingers crossed that he gets chosen. If you don't mind me asking where in Jersey are you from. I'm central.

P/SS/OF and soon to be making his premier at 1B (I guess they are looking for a way to get him on the field).

By the way, my avatar is now Sean's favorite picture...it's hard to see it, but he is the one getting a mouthful of dirt while being tagged out by eight feet trying to steal second.
