Just a quick update on my son.
Johnny has verbally committed to the Bowling Green Sate University (BGSU)to continue his baseball career.
Go Falcons!
I love it. The staff is great and the school is a super fit for him. And being just over an hour away, dad can continue to watch his oldest son play baseball, at least a few games!

Congrats, being from same general area, I have been following Johnny thru message boards etc, this year. BGSU is a fine college. Glad to see he has found his place to play baseball in the future
I would like to contratulate Patriot son, Zack Aukes, on signing his NLI to the Univerity of Oregon today. Today is a major milestone in his life. We couldn't be happier with his choice. We feel great about the team, coaches, academics and school.

I also want to express my gratitude for the wisdom and support of this site. I had many questions along the way that I could come here for answers.
This stage of the journey has a VERY happy ending:

Gerard Spiegel RHP 2013, Trumbull High School
(Summer, CT Xplosion Baseball and fall, PG Dark Green Clippers)

UCONN!

Go Huskies. Smile He is so proud to be able to wear the name of his state on his uniform.

And we are so excited to be able to attend so many games, and know that he is in a great school with outstanding coaches.

I can't express how grateful my son and I are for the collective wisdom on this site, and for the contacts we made along the way. (You know who you are!)

Best wishes to all others still in the journey....

Happy Thanksgiving.
So here we go with another player from the Constitution State:

Michael Mann
Lyme/Old Lyme High School, Old Lyme, CT
C/OF R/R

Michael is headed to Washington College, Chestertown, MD. Go Shoremen!

Michael is a proud product of the Niantic Legion program, and the Groton Wildcats (Fall).

Many thanks to those who have provided this mom with lots of advice and support, both on the boards and by PMs. There are some incredibly generous folks who have given me contacts, spreadsheets of information, and encouragement.

I'm looking forward to meeting HSBBW parents at college games as the next chapter begins.
