I am not privy to whether or not their is a deadline.  Conference 18 is in the same boat!  I know a game can be played on Friday.  I do not know if Saturday is fair game, or not, nor can I find any information regarding that.  It could be a "Conference decision".

On the VHSL site, I could not locate a "final date".  There are specified dates for tournament play when begins and ends, but not the regular season.  Also, in this day and age of "districts" AND "conferences", there are now three sets of rules.  The district has a policy, which has been in place for years.  The conference may have a different policy, or no policy at all.  And then finally, the VHSL has theirs.  What I have learned is that every conference is different.  Keep in mind that a conference may blend schools from at least two, if not three different districts, in some cases.  It's a hot mess.

Here's one example.  NR plays Kings Fork today, weather permitting.  Seeing the impending weather, it would have made complete and logical sense to move the game up to Wednesday.  (NR has prom on Friday, by the way)  The SED does not allow for games to be moved up.   Because Kings Fork is also a "district" school, it could not be moved up, even though it was a "conference" game!  You with me?!?!?  If you're answer is "No, that's silly", then I'm with you!

Such is life in this grand new world, of six classifications.  Hopefully, everyone will get their games in, in the most appropriate manner!   Best of luck!
