Riverbend High Schools Head Coach, Tim Stimmell, resigned this summer - as I am told to focus his full attention to his duties as the schools Athletic Director.

Over the years Coach Stimmell, who founded the program, has built a very respectable program, year in and year out competing, advancing and improving his teams.

Go to his field, you'll see how much he cares.....

Tim Stimmell is an outstanding baseball coach and now he is proving he is also an outstanding AD in the hiring of Coach Jeff Petty as the new head baseball coach at Riverbend.

Pretty awesome in my book to hire your replacement with a Coach of the caliber of Jeff Petty... whom I am certain will get the most out of his players.

That's one helluva replacement. Watch for property values to increase in the RHS district.

I heard he retired before his first season started....not sure if it is true, but it seems to be an issue with time away from his travel team commitment.

Jeff resigned to spend time with his newborn daughter. He doesn't want her growing up in daycare.

I am sure Coach Stimmel will find a great replacement

I heard he quit because he found out the players actually had to go to Riverbend and not flown in from all over the country.
