Congrats to the Coach McGuire for his hard work in securing a new home field for the Maroons. LewisGate is an awesome setting for a ball game.

Lewis Gale park is home to the Salem Red Sox.
Coach McGuire is a good friend of mine ... so happy for him and his student-athletes.
This opportunity has taken their program to another level and will help them tremendously in recruiting. Coach Mac is running his program like a D1 program and expect to see Roanoke competing in the the top 4 spots of the ODAC in the very near future.
So it's a joint occupancy deal? Like VCU at The Diamond, Penn State with the Iron Pigs, etc.?
It is a joint usage but from what I see only the last week of the Maroons schedule is there an possible overlap.They have full use of the facilities including locker room, weight room, cages etc.
That is a very nice facility, and Coach McGuire has truly impressed me as well. Which is good, considering it looks like my son will be playing for him next year!!
