My son just got invited to attend SelectFest for this October 2014. Haven't seen many posts on SelectFest recently. How legit is this camp? Do you have to be asked to attend or can anyone just sign up if their numbers are low for that specific camp? Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not familiar with the fall Select Fest. The summer event requires recommendations from a coach and a scout. Then Select Fest decides if you're invited. The summer event is one of the top events in the northeast.
The fall event is for underclass only.
I do not know which coaches or scouts attend.

don't know about the showcase itself but the web site is a zero trying to become a 1
+1 on the website. Painful. Have to send questions via the Contact Us email address. It can take weeks+ for a response, but now that the event is near, they will likely be on top of it.

Son submitted questions on several occasions. Never received a response. Great event (summer), but very difficult to get information.
I just asked and got an update from the SelectFest on which schools are likely to attend next weekend. Figured it would be of interest to some. He said there will be more, but here is the list of confirms so far:
