I originally read an excerpt of the the article in Harvey Dorfman's book, "The Mental Game of Baseball." The article was run by Sports Illustrated in 1972 and gives a look into what made Tom Seaver great. The way he went about business was admirable and should be the mind set of any player dreaming to become great.
