My 2019, Kirby Connell, committed to the University of Tennessee yesterday.  This board was helpful 6 years ago when I was going through the process with my middle son who played at The Citadel and even more helpful with this one as times have changed.

I also have to give a shoutout to Perfect Game.  I know they get a flack on here but they were a huge reason for the attention my son received this summer.  He played up in the 17U WWBA and had a great game batting where he hit a homerun at Lakepoint and followed it the next day with a great game on the mound throwing 88 from the left side with 12 ks which drew a lot of attention.  Even though that tournament was as chaotic as any we have been to, great things happen in chaos.   I was one of the guys who was frustrated but it is still the best place to be to be seen.  Thanks PGStaff for putting up with all of us.

You guys here have been very helpful in so many ways I just want to say thanks.  As many have said in the years I have been on here some of the best baseball minds in baseball are here to help.  Thanks again.

Congratulations! I wish your son the best of luck! That's awesome!

baseballmom, I am well aware.  We moved to Missouri from Tennessee 3 years ago.  I actually have met several of those guys in the past.  There is 8 years difference between my middle and youngest son.  I was here back 12 years ago then got away for a few years then came back because it is a great resource.  This board has been so helpful along the way with information and contacts.  Many on here would be surprised who some of the posters really are and the success either them or their kids have had.  Some great baseball minds on here and I appreciate them sharing their knowledge every year with a new set of posters.  It would be so easy for many of them to just move on with life and keep their lessons to themselves but they freely share them here.
