I'm swearing at myself up and down right now. First-round of HS section playoffs, which is an elimination game. HT is up with two out and runners on first and second. Chopper to third that gets thrown to the HP side of first, drawing F3 off. He reaches back on a swipe tag, with his body between me and his glove. I call BR safe, as I didn't see anything to indicate that the glove touched the runner. I then immediately ask for help from my partner, who also had no angle and thus, no help. The next batter singles to tie the game (they went on to win it.)

Happened to see on Twitter today a pic from the 1B-side stands showing the glove grazing the back of BR.

Matt, I don't know if this will help or not.  A couple of years ago, I had a similar thing happen.  Naturally, I had three or four parents who all had serious cameras and caught the same play you describe.  The one dad came running over after the game wanting me to see the pic.  Sure enough, we got the out and the photo proved it.  Yet another dad came over and his camera photo taken from a different angle showed that the tag missed. Both were at almost the same point in the play and so, Matt, just because that photo shows one thing, there is a chance you got that call right.

I appreciate the sentiment, but this one is pretty plain as day. We missed it. My solace is that there was nothing else we could have done to have gotten it right. We did things the way the situation dictated, and it wasn't enough.
