have you or your son played for Arizona? what was your experience? my son has an offer.

Sorry for the sarcasm, and thanks for being more specific. I don't have any direct experience with regards to playing for the Wildcats, but we have some posters here who do. I'm sure they'll chime in.

 

One of the elite programs in the country, which you probably already know, but competition for spots is intense, You see kids go there and then transfer if they don't get a spot. Andy Lopez is highly regarded and seen as one of the good guys as far as a head coach. My son had a friend who played there and seemed to like it. He played as a freshmen in the CWS a couple of years ago so that gives you an idea of the talent they attract. It is a big school and has all of the things associated with being a large program. As a side note the golf course used by the golf team is awesome. 

I don't know a lot personally about the program other than what I have seen on TV. Son does have a summer teammate that has committed there (LHP) who is one of the top in the 2015 class. That tells me they must have a strong program with a lot to offer to pull the kid out of NC.

A 2014 player on our Summer team committed there and loved it.  Son and dad did a lot of research, (as son had offers from all the elite baseball schools).  Ultimately did not matter as son drafted high and went to Red Sox organization.

Thanks for all the information. My son is a 6'3" 175 lb 2015 RHP. Has touched 90 a few times.

He has multiple offers. It's been crazy. We are just trying to find the right fit. 

 

Thank you. My son decided on San Diego State. He is excited. I'm happy. It's only 136 miles from home. He's been shut down for a month. He is looking forward to the 2014 WWBA

World Championship in October.
