I did a search of UIC's program and found some old 10 year old threads, so I figured maybe get some updated thoughts of the baseball program and the school.  I've been to Chicago for work but I can only provide my son 3 days worth of experience in the city.

Anyways, any input would be great...thanks.

The immediate area has improved quite a bit.  The facility upgrade co-funded by Curtis Granderson is fantastic.  They also have an excellent indoor facility.  The coaching staff is very dialed into the recruiting environment and looking to make more of a name for themselves.

We've been there recently.

I work in  the Area. nice housing around the school , the area can be better, but again its Chicago, our SS from our HS school is starting his Freshmen yr there, the stadium  is beautiful , the AC tryouts were there,  real good school, my cousin goes there to studying engineering , D1 and they play a good schedule , its a school my 2019 has on his list.

Roster has some kids from out of state and their schedule is pretty challenging as well. Looks like pretty good facilities from the pics. I was unaware that Granderson went there. I thought it was the main campus at Illinois. I like it when pro athletes give money back to their old  schools, especially the smaller schools where their donations can make an even bigger splash. I noticed the stadium was named after Curtis.
