Woohoo....for the second straight year my son's team is heading into the post season. Last year was so magical I was afraid to even hope to experience it again. This year seemed likely to be a down year for the team and it took winning the conference tournament to qualify but they are peeking and playing together at the right time. Our freshman have gotten their feet under them and are really contributing which we needed after losing a ton (3 of our 4 starters and closer as well as three position starters) to the draft last year. I thought we'd be a year away from any post season play so it's total bonus baseball!
Anyone else making travel plans? I hope so!
