Playing in several wood bat showcases and tournaments this summer, so I am looking for a quality wood bat. I would prefer more of a balanced bat; I have heard good things about the Chase Utley Marucci model. What bats have you guys had success with as far as quality with a reasonable price?
My son prefers the CU26 Maricci for its balanced wieght, knob shape, and handle size. He swings an Easton S1 and says the CU26 matches it. As far as durability, we went through many makes and models over the years and discovered that Marucci outlasted the others (for him). Although, this can also be contributed to his swing improving over the years as well.
