if your arent following a specific program with a trainer or anything, my advice would be to make sure you stick to the basics as far as lifting. not sure how experienced you are, but squat and deadlift are two great lower body exercises. with deadlift make sure you are using correct form as i see a lot of hs kids do this wrong. the funny thing is that while they are often able to lift more weight at the moment, by doing it correctly you can progress to much higher weights and also progress rather quickly. make sure to not neglect mobility work. i like doing a lot of medball work for rotational core power.
