Tips for line drives at outfielders
On the general forum there is a thread about getting good jumps on the ball in the outfield. Are there any drills to help outfielders with line drives and how to judge them besides just hitting a lot to them? I know that in centerfield it is the hardest ball to judge and was just looking for some tips. Thanks.

So we begin tomorrow with more than a foot of snow covering the field and temperatures below freezing. We have a full length indoor net and enough room to take a full infield. When we are lucky enough to get the entire gym to ourselves the OF can get in some live work as well. Ive created a pretty comprehensive list of indoor drills... Id like to make the most out of our time spent indoors since it looks like we will be in there a while. Im looking to hear from the coaches on practice

How to be a DH?
coach; he is the one that is there to help. Find out what he sees. 3. Continue to work your hitting drills, that success will come in time, have faith. 4. Maintain a postive attitude; it is the first thing that everyone sees. I have my theories as to why he hit better when playing in the field than as a DH. However, for those that have been down this road, what adjustments does a player need to make when they are asked to DH?

Talk to your pitchers, PLEASE!
. Batter squares to bunt, pitcher follows his pitch in to cover. Batter misses the bunt, pitcher drops to his hands and knees to clear the way for the throw. Unfortunately, he looks at the ground to catch his fall. Ball comes out of the catcher's hand low, drills the pitcher on the top of the head (from about 45 feet away). One of the longest fifteen minutes for everyone as the young man lay limp on the field. HE DID RECOVER AND PITCH SEVERAL MORE INNINGS. God willing no long term damage took place

Qualities of a good lesson/Coach:
know the draw backs to that as well. Good instructors are available for either tune ups OR emergency "fix its." I've had parents call in the past and tell me that their kid has anxiety ... and that it'd help to get a quick lesson. Most of the time in that situation, I've just gone to their game and asked their coach if I could do a couple of drills with them. Naturally this has never happened at the hs level. Well, you all know I'm a person that makes list. I know I haven't mentioned everything

Lunge/Weight Shift Problem
