Reply to "08Dad's son and my son"

quote:
According to my son, the batter laid a bunt down the first base line, he fielded it and whirled and threw a bullet from about 15 feet away, not thinking about how close he was.

Oh, was that funny! To add to the story, it was the first time my son has played first base since he filled in a few innings in the 7th grade. The bunt was a good one, the play was close, so Will couldn't just toss the ball. And so he threw it hard - right at that handcuff spot (his crotch!)

Jeff got that big old 1st baseman's glove turned around in time to save the next generation of Kremers, and jogged into the dugout next to Will, smiling together.

It was one of those uniquely baseball moments.
