11U player off season training and focus

My son is 11 years old and he played up 12U travel this season. He is #1 pitcher in his team. His batting order varied from #4 to #8. I found if he is not pitching, he will hit ball well but if he is pitching, his batting droped. The coach realized this too. That is the reason his batting order keeps changes.

My son had a tough time on hitting ball last season. Luckily, we found a wonderful retired MLB coach who helped my son in both pitching and hitting in the off season.

This season will end in less than 2 weeks for my son. We are seeking the same type off season training like last year. Unforunately, his old coach has moved to the other MLB organization. There are professional instructions over my area. But this bad economics make us hard support both pitching and hitting instructions cost.

My question is which one to take? Pitching or hitting? My son feel he is more like pitching. But we had the bad experience about sitting in the bench or always hitting last one.

Thanks for any advice.
