A relocation mid June has thrown a wrench in our plans for Summer ball. We have no clue as to what options are available in Georgia along the same lines of travel ball/select/showcase. Looking for some info/insight, appreciate any we can get!

This is a link to High School ages and above that currently have advertised openings:

Levels are BIG here in GA too.  Major, AAA, AA, A is the hierarchy.

If your son is high level I would recommend the Georgia Jackets out of Alpharetta, and Team Elite out of Winder/Roswell/Marietta.  Both make their presence known at PG events .

Another local powerhouse is 6-4-3 in Marietta. They are likely closed up for this year but worth a call, they won't play around they will tell you if they have an opening and tend to have smaller more select teams.

And of course there is East Cobb.  From where you are located it will be a killer to get to the main park in rush hour but sometimes they have a team that practices out of Alpharetta. ECB does have teams that play in national events and are considered one of, if not THE, premier places to play for in GA.  A word of caution though...just because the shirt says ECB doesn't mean it is a high level team. There are TWELVE 16u ECB teams.

Do your homework, many 16u teams tend to have 20+ players, practice away from their home park, and have what some consider to be "hidden" fees.  You may want to contact your zoned high school baseball coach for some suggestions.  The school should have their email listed under student athletics on the HS website.  You may want to include stats if you have them so he can offer relevant suggestions.
