I believe this list was made just like any other list, a bunch of scouts collecting data and watching kids play.

Looking at the names on the list, the majority of those listed have played in big-time recruited events (WWBA, BCS, Area Codes, etc.). They probably played pretty well. From there, they were put on the list.

Though it is an honor, remember that there are 435 names. Some belong there, some (IMO) don't. Some that aren't there should be. Still, a list is just a list, the game still needs to be played.
