Metro East Baseball Classic – Varsity 17u - July 23-25, 2010The 1st Annual Metro East Baseball Classic will be hosted by Edwardsville High School and O’Fallon Township High School. The Edwardsville Sports Complex features Tom Pile Field at Tiger Stadium and a JV Field w/ a new artificial turf infield. O’Fallon will host games at Blazier Field and a newly constructed field at their Freshman Milburn Campus. All fields are equipment with field tarps if needed.
All sites are located less than 20 minutes from Downtown St. Louis
The Metro East Baseball Classic is a Varsity 17u (Returning HS Players Only) 5-game guarantee tournament limited to 16 teams. Four pools of four teams will participate in round robin play. Teams will be placed in a tournament bracket based on pool play standings and play two additional games. One champion will be crowned.
ENTRY FEE $450. NO ADMISSION-NO GATE FEES.
GAME BASEBALLS: Teams will be responsible for providing 2 balls/game.
TIME LIMIT: No inning will start after 2 hours of 1st pitch. (Except Championship Game)

The Metro East Baseball Classic is a Junior Varsity 16u 4-game guarantee tournament limited to 8 teams. Two pools of four teams will participate in round robin play. Teams will match up based on pool play standings and play one additional game. One champion will be crowned.
