I think you have a good point, but i'm not sure how the HS coaches thinking. In our town there are several High Schools, and it seems like every coach has a different outlook. Some move high quality freshmen up to JV or Varsity, while others a dead-set in keeping kids together with their age-class. I would think that the farther away from the 2020 Graduation year and all the new extended eligibility rules, the better. But "heck-if-I-know" anymore.

My son is 14 and is a 2025(born in Sept 2006) and is in 8th grade. I'm hoping that things get back to normal by his Freshman try-outs.

Several of his Select teammates have switched schools ( for baseball reasons). Seems like there is alot of that stuff going on.
