3B playing 2B

I've played 3B up to my junior year (Freshmen and 2 years of JV). It's now summer ball, and I'm playing on a team with mostly varsity kids..9 varsity players, 1 college kid, and 3 jv kids..and I'm playing a little bit of second. I know baseball so I know the basics of every position, but I struggle turning a double play. I think my footwork's pretty good, but I struggle on the transfer. Any suggestions on what I can do to get rid of the ball better or even suggestions on proper footwork? Thanks.
