Been involved in the NW baseball scene for a while but mostly at the 18U/college summer levels. Have a 4 almost 5 year old now and am wonderinf if anyone knows of any 5u/6u instructional.select type program or looking for people who would want to possibly join me in starting something like that up? Idea would be to have 1 team of 18 kids or so and do split squad t-ball/coach pitch games while teaching basic fundamentals of the game. Almost a camp type setting with instructional type games involved on weekend. Is there anything out there like that currently on the South End/Eastside? I'd like to get the little guy involved in something other than a "dad" coached t-ball type scenario through the local little leagues etc. so fundamentals can be taught properly and kids who have the desire can learn from an earlier age that that of traditional select level teams and instruction. If there is anything out there currently I am activley looking and asked some of my local contacts who run academies etc and haven't found anything? I am willing to start something possibly as well that could be like Wednesday nights as well as a weekend day possibly with more camp/game settings to come in the summer?
