Here is one vote saying you and he are absolutely doing the right thing. In this day and age, the best (only?) argument by far for a talented and highly aspirational kid to stay in LL vs. seeking high end travel ball is because it will be more fun and he can be with his friends. It is a good and legit argument. But, in this case, that does not at all seem to be the case. Your son really wants to play travel and has some good friends there. Thus, he made the right decsion; don't look back. Good luck to him!!
