Age to Start Showcases

We have a very talented player finishing his Freshman year. He obviously is still growing in height and will probably add speed to his arm. Yet, he still dominates in his small high school league. Should he attend a showcase? Or, should he wait until after his 10th grade year. I am afraid the scouts will pre-judge him without putting his age into account (15). (I know they say that this wouldn't happen. But, it is human nature.)
