An old neighbor probably directed more of those 70s,80s,90s shows than anyone else (Dallas, Walker Texas Ranger, TJ Hooker, Falcon Crest, 7th Heaven, etc., etc. He got the shows filmed quickly and efficiently and they obviously got watched. He was into baseball and I used to wear a Hawaii Islanders cap he had grabbed while working on Hawaii 5-0 when I played for an Angels rookie team (kind of a mix of semi-pro/scout team) back in the 70s.

BTW, I doubt he was bummed about having to direct Heather Locklear in TJ Hooker, although I'm more envious of his Dallas episodes with Victoria Principal.
